Every story ranked by how loud it is, who holds it and what its ETFs returned.
This week’s loudest: the productivity handoff, crypto conviction and hard asset flight. Quietest: the credit signal.

Further right is louder. Higher means more of the capital sits in the top five ETFs. Bigger bubbles have more ETFs.
Pick up to five and see their last four weeks side by side on the fixed scale.
Each dot is one of the five channels, the dark mark is the level.
The productivity handoff at 63.2 (HOT); crypto conviction at 60.1 (HOT); hard asset flight at 59.8 (HOT). Levels run on a fixed scale of 25 to 60.
The credit signal at 35.0 (QUIET); dollar displacement at 42.7 (QUIET); the reshoring trade at 43.8 (QUIET).
The income overlay: 677 US ETFs carry it.
Geopolitical supply +42.9%; the biology trade +29.6%; the AI compute core +18.6%, against +12.0% for broad US ETFs. Asset weighted, to November 3, 2026. Past performance only.
Each story is scored 0 to 100 on five channels every week: search, video, news, investor boards and reference pages. The five are averaged into one level on a fixed 25 to 60 scale. HOT is the top 15% of the week and QUIET the bottom 15%. A level says how loud a story is, not where it is going.
Levels are attention, not direction: no story is labeled rising or falling, and nothing here forecasts flows. Ownership is capital Share of Narrative, exposure-weighted, from the week’s holdings.
Last 12 months: market price total return of the ETFs that carry the story, asset weighted, to November 3, 2026. The bar ranks the 22 stories with a full year, lowest to highest; the dark notch is this one and the thin tick is broad US ETFs (+12.0%). Attention and returns sit side by side, not as cause and effect. Measured and past, not a forecast.
Bubble size is the number of ETFs carrying the story. Color is this week’s band. The lines split the board at its median level (53.0 this week) and at 70% concentration.
The last four weeks on the fixed 25 to 60 scale, with each week’s HOT and QUIET zones shaded. Bands are the top and bottom 15% of that week, so the zones move. A level under 25 is drawn on the floor and marked “below 25”. A record of levels, not a forecast.
Channel scores run 0 to 100. The dark mark is the level, the dot beside each name is its band, and the number on the right is the gap between the highest and lowest channel. A channel that did not report this week has no dot (8 of 110 this week).
